Where it fits

A shared team needs more than a shared task list.

When the same people work across several companies, a simple request can leave important questions unanswered: whose budget, whose approval, which deadline, and who is allowed to see it?

For coordinating the group

  • A privately owned group of roughly 3–20 companies or ventures, with shared people and separate responsibilities.
  • A founder, family business or management team coordinating projects, approvals and recurring work.
  • Finance, operations or administration needing a cross-company queue without giving everyone group-wide access.

For more than 10 companies, discuss scope and commercial terms before ordering.

Alongside your specialist systems

SOVHELM coordinates the work around your accounts and company records. It is not a general ledger, payroll or tax tool, statutory filing service, payment-execution system or investment-reporting platform.

Keep those specialist systems. Use SOVHELM to make the preparation, responsibility, approval and evidence clear.

Illustrative workflow

Prepare a supplier payment. Keep the approval clear.

A shared finance team gathers the quote and payment terms. An operations owner checks the commitment; a named approver signs off. The task records the decision. Payment itself happens in your banking or accounting system.

Sample process, not a customer case study. Configure responsibilities and access for your own group.

Company
The purchasing subsidiary, whether a US LLC or a UK limited company.
People
Operations owner, shared-finance assignee, named founder or authorised approver.
Evidence
Dated supplier quote, proposed payment terms and the recorded approval decision.
Deadline
An internal preparation target before the agreed payment date.
Visibility
Access set by the record's privacy rules and each person's configured role and scope.
Follow-through
Comments and history stay with the task; execution of the payment stays outside SOVHELM.

The operating structure is shared; country-specific tax and filing obligations are not. Set each entity's dates with your accountant or adviser.

This public-demo capture shows a supplier-quote task with its project, function, assignee, approver, status and due date. It demonstrates the product fields, not the illustrative payment process or a customer outcome.

Before you choose

Questions for a holding-company rollout.

Start with the ownership and access model, then test one shared process.

Can one finance team work across subsidiaries?

Yes. Venture and function context let a shared team review its assigned work across companies. Access still depends on each person's configured role and scope; membership of one company does not grant access to the whole group.

Does this replace our accounting or entity-management system?

SOVHELM coordinates the work around those systems: who prepares a pack, who approves it, which company it belongs to and where the evidence is recorded. It is not a general ledger, tax adviser or filing service.

Does it suit a group with US and UK companies?

You can structure operating work around each company and legal entity, with responsibilities and access set for the relevant people. SOVHELM does not determine tax obligations or file returns in either country. Check jurisdiction-specific requirements and dates with your advisers.

Which plan covers our group?

Founder covers one company or venture, Growth up to three and Portfolio up to ten. If your group has more than ten, request a private walkthrough to discuss scope and commercial terms before ordering. Compare current USD and GBP plans.

What should we test first?

Use an illustrative supplier approval involving one subsidiary and a shared finance team. Check the company, owner, approver and evidence; then switch demo roles to inspect visibility. Follow the evaluation checklist before importing real records.
